Seedlip & Pizza Express Event

I had the absolute pleasure of attending an event last week hosted by Seedlip at Pizza Express in Kensington. Although I had heard of Seedlip before, I had never tried it so was very intrigued to taste their drinks. Read on to see my verdict...

Seedlip is the world's first non-alcoholic spirit. It's sugar free, sweetener free, calorie free & artificial colour free - But, it's not free from flavour, I can assure you! In fact, one of the first things I noticed when I tried both flavours was the unique flavour and refreshing smell too.

My favourite out of the 2 was the 'Spice 94' flavour - made with all spice, cardamom, oak, lemon, grapefruit and Fever Tree tonic water. This really reminded me of Christmas (in a good way!), I think it's the combination of the citrus and cardamom.
The 'Garden 108' flavour is really fragrant of herbs - made from peas, hay, spearmint, rosemary, thyme and tonic water. You can really taste the subtle flavour of peas which is surprisingly nice.
Overall, I was impressed with both flavours and it's so nice to finally have a drink to have when you are not drinking!

After being treated to a cocktail making class (^ Beetroot Martini above) and a talk from Seedlip we were then invited to get out hands messy and create our own pizzas!

We were taught how to stretch the dough (gf for me) into the perfect shape and then were given all the toppings to choose from to make our perfect pizza.
Whilst our pizzas cooked we were given some dough balls to enjoy (gluten free option now available too which was a nice surprise). I was impressed with their gluten free options and the pizza was delicious too (if I do say so myself..)
