Chocolate Chia Pot

I just love how versatile the humble little chia seed is! Although they have been around for a little while now and I have used them in recipes before (both sweet and savoury), I must admit, I never really use them all that much in everyday meals. But, with the amazing health benefits including; a source of Omega 3, fibre, high in vitamins and antioxidants I've re-visited the mighty chia seed and decided to make a breakfast option (or sweet treat), that is super simple to make and totally delicious too.
Breakfast is always a tricky one for me as I work full-time so need a quick option but don't want to spend money every morning buying something (usually) over-priced and full of... well, who knows what?! This recipe means you can prepare it the night before in a matter of minutes and you can add any toppings you like. I've added some homemade granola, which again is easy to batch make for the week ahead.

What you'll need:
-The Chia Co Chia Shots (1 shot per glass pot / ramekin)
-1/4tsp Aduna cocao powder
-50ml almond milk (Alpro - I use the sweetened one)
-1tsp agave nectar (optional)

Topping suggestions:
-Homemade granola
-Bee pollen

How to make:
>Simply pour out the chia shots into a dish or bowl.
>Add the cacao powder.
>Pour over the almond milk and if you want an extra dash of natural sweetener add in the agave nectar but I personally don't think it is 100% necessary if you are using sweetened almond milk already. Stir thoroughly to combine as much as possible.
>Then leave in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight. The chia seeds will absorb all the liquid and turn into a gelatinous creamy pudding.
>To finish, add some freshly cut strawberries and some crunchy homemade granola. You can find recipes for my homemade granola here.

Hope you like this one as much as I do :)
