Quinoa Porridge


Want to start your day off properly? Well, this super-food quinoa porridge is just the thing for you and is seriously easy to make with only 3 ingredients (and a whole loada toppings).



What you'll need (Makes enough for 2 people/portions) :
-100g quinoa
-200g oats
-200ml Almond or coconut milk (whichever you prefer)

Toppings (tailor to suit you but mine including the below):
-Fresh raspberries
-Desiccated coconut
-A dollop of Coconut Collaborative yoghurt
-A dollop of Jake's Boost cocoa boost spread
-A couple of cashew nuts broken up
-Pumpkin & Sunflower seeds
-Drizzle of The Groovy Food Company Agave Nectar (optional)

How to make:

Start by popping the kettle on to boil, then pour out the quinoa into a pan and cover with the boiling water by about  2cm's, then cover with a pan lid and leave to simmer for around 10 minutes. Once cooked and soft, add in the oats and nut milk then stir. Keep stirring and checking until the oats have softened. Then spoon out about 3 tablespoons of the porridge mix into a bowl and top to your hearts content :)
