My Marathon

So here's some interesting news; I've decided to do My Marathon next month for The British Heart Foundation - having struggled with a rare form of heart condition (Postural Tachycardia Syndrome) for the past couple of years, I have finally built up the confidence, strength, health and fitness (eventually) to get back into keeping fit and exercising. Not only am I doing this for myself to prove I can achieve a significant exercise challenge but of course also for an absolutely amazing and worthy cause. This marathon is great for people who, like me, aren't natural runners or aren't in the best fitness shape - anyone can do this marathon and the best thing about it is you can do it at your own pace and whenever and wherever you choose. It consists of running / walking 26.2 miles, you can do it progressively over the month too, so no pressure to do it in a day! I'll be doing this with my 2 housemates - they have both been extremely supportive of me throughout my good days and bad days and they have been extremely encouraging in getting me back into fitness carefully and at my own pace (so, here's a little thank you to my 2 lovely personal trainers and best friends - you are the best!) I can't encourage you enough, try it for yourselves and feel amazing for doing so.
